Connect+

Recent studies show a strong relation between the parents involvement in their children education and their behaviour and academic performance. Many schools lack effective communication systems that ensure parents are informed in a timely manner about any academic and non-academic issues relating to their kids. In addition to that, many parents have expressed that they would love to have a way to keep them updated about their children’s upcoming assessments without having to visit the school portal or contact individual teachers.
Connect+ is a mobile app that aims to improve the communication between teachers, parents, and students. It provides a set of unique features that serve this main purpose:
1) Assessment/assignments list: The app provides a list of all upcoming assessments/assignments in a chronological order.
2) Notifications: Parents receive notification to their mobile phones whenever a teacher submits and assignment and/or assessments.
3) Reminders: Parents can set reminders for individual assessments/assignments.
4) Emails: Parents can send emails to teachers directly from within the application.
5) Meetings: Parents can schedule meetings with teachers through the meeting scheduler.
6) Favourites: Parents can add certain assessments/assignments to their favourite list.
